On July 31, 2014, Plaintiffs moved for summary judgment on several of Centene’s defenses, including whether Plaintiffs should have been classified as exempt from overtime. The same day, Centene moved for summary judgment on Plaintiffs’ exemption statuses. Centene also asked the Court to decertify the collective action, meaning they think each Plaintiff should have to file their own lawsuit to collect any overtime owed. Plaintiffs filed memoranda opposing both of Centene’s requests. The judge assigned to the case will decide these motions sometime during the upcoming months. We will continue to provide updates as the case progresses.
