Abbott Laboratories, Inc. Update

No Company is Too Big to Play Fair.
|

On October 6, 2015, we filed a motion to conditionally certify the case as a collective action. The purpose of this motion is to request that the Court allow us to bring a federal claim for unpaid overtime compensation on behalf of all field service specialists (also referred to as “core lab specialists,” “prism specialists,” and “hematology support specialists”) and similarly situated persons employed by Abbott within the last three years. If this motion is granted, Abbott will provide us with a list of names and contact information for all eligible employees so we can distribute judicial notice of the lawsuit. This notice would provide information about the lawsuit and explain how to join it.

We will receive an order regarding conditional certification in the coming weeks. However, Abbott employees who wish to join the case may still do so while this is being considered by the Court. If you worked for Abbott within the past three years as a field service specialist (also referred to as “core lab specialists,” “prism specialists,” and “hematology support specialists”) and wish to join this case, please sign and return a Plaintiff Consent Form. If you have any questions, please contact our case clerk, William Elsass, at welsass@nka.com or (877) 344-4628.
